Brosis Motorsport - Tarmac Rally Mini Stopping Power Getting the car going quickly is one thing. But being able to stop it quickly, consistently, in a controlled manner, without cooking them or suffering brake fade on long stages, meant that a radical upgrade was very necessary. The Front end: Serious brakes are absolutely essential at the front, and our 10.5” discs are bigger than the original mini 10” wheels!! 267mm (10.5") vented, grooved rotors, mounted on KAD bells. Hi-Spec 4 pot alloy racing callipers. Performance Friction carbon metallic brake pads. Braided flexible hoses. The Tail end: Lightweight brakes only are needed here, although an effective handbrake is essential for flicking the rear end when necessary. KAD alloy hubs with discs and callipers. Hydraulic and mechanical hand brakes. Rear brake lock off valve. Braided flexible hoses. Competition master cylinder with remote reservoir. Read about the suspension used on this special rally mini.
